Candidate Withdrawal Form

A candidate must file a Candidate Withdrawal Form with the Municipal Electoral Officer if they want to withdraw from the municipal election.
When a withdrawal occurs before 2:00 pm on nomination day (October 20, 2026), the candidate is considered to not be officially nominated.
A candidate can still withdraw between the close of nomination day and the close of the polls on election day (November 2, 2026) by filing the Candidate Withdrawal Form. If the ballots cannot be changed in time for the election, the votes for that candidate are not
