Poverty Elimination Strategy Act Baseline Report

The Prince Edward Island Poverty Elimination Strategy Act was enacted in May 2021. This report lists indicators set out by the Act to be reported on and baseline data related to those indicators. It also notes achievements of the Poverty Reduction Action Plan to the end of March 2021, while presenting actions planned for 2021/2022.

This report will be followed by the first Annual Report, with data made available during the 2022/23 year, as well as accomplishments in addressing poverty and plans for the next fiscal year.
