Notes:

The work includes:

a) Cold planning 2.2 metre strip along shoulder on each side of road (1.0-1.2 metres of asphalt and 1.0-1.2 metres of existing shoulder material) (55mm), placing asphalt levelling A (55 mm) in 2.4 metre strip cut on each side of road, placing asphalt seal B (45 mm) full width, shouldering and all other work necessary to complete the Contract.

b) Removing existing boardwalk and replacing with 2.4 m wide paved Active Transportation Trail. Work shall also include earth excavation, installation of storm sewer, placing select borrow as required, placing granular A (150 mm), placing asphalt B (60 mm) and all other work necessary to complete the Contract.

c) Topsoil removal, placing select borrow as required, placing granular A to widen existing trail to 2.4 metres, placing asphalt seal B (60 mm), landscaping and all other work necessary to complete the Contract.
