A professional land surveyor, Jill Burridge was the first woman commissioned as a land surveyor in the province of Saskatchewan. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Geodesy and Geomatics Engineering and a Diploma in Technology Management and Entrepreneurship from the University of New Brunswick, as well as an Urban and Rural Planning Diploma from Holland College.

A former member of Stratford Council, Ms. Burridge chaired the Planning, Heritage and Development Committee and the Community Campus Committee, and served as Vice‑Chair of the Finance Committee. She is Co‑Chair of the Stratford High School Planning and Construction Committee and Chair of SHAPE Stratford, a CMHC initiative to advance affordable housing opportunities in Stratford.

Ms. Burridge was elected as the MLA for District 6, Stratford–Keppoch, on April 3, 2023. In February 2026, she was sworn in as Minister of Finance and Affordability.

Originally from Souris, Ms. Burridge is a proud Islander happy to call Stratford home, where she lives with her husband, Brian, and their children, Lucy and Jack.
