PLEASE NOTE: Between November 16, 2024 - March 14, 2025 burning is allowed now that wildfire season has ended. Burning permits are not required for burning brush during this time.
The 2025 wildfire season starts March 15, 2025. At that time, Burning Restrictions and the Fire Weather Index will be updated daily with information and restrictions on domestic burning and larger industrial burning.

Always check your municipal bylaws, or contact your municipal office, before doing any type of burning. Your municipality may have a burning restriction that overrides the provincial burning map restrictions.
This page is updated daily at 2pm during fire season from March 15 to November 15. It is not updated from November 16 to March 14.
