What producers are eligible?
A dead livestock removal service is available in PEI on a Province-wide basis to all beef & dairy producers.
Is there a fee for the service?
A service fee is required prior to using the service.
- Beef producers can contact the PEI Cattle Producers at (902) 368-2229
- Dairy producers can contact the Dairy Farmers of PEI at (902) 892-0721
If service fee has been paid, call the following numbers to access this service:

Provincial Guidelines For Disposal of Dead Farm Livestock are available on the Department website.
Who provides the service?
This service is provided by Maritime Pet Food Inc. in cooperation with the PEI Cattle Producers and the Dairy Farmers of Prince Edward Island.
