Bona fide farmer definition for solar program

For the purposes of the solar rebate program, a “bona fide farmer” means:
- an individual who owns a farm and
- is actively engaged in farming, and
- earns at least $10,000 of the individual’s gross annual income from farming, or at least 25 per cent of the individual’s gross annual income from farming, if the individual does not earn at least $10,000 of the individual’s gross annual income from farming,
- a corporation that owns a farm and
- is registered in this province,
- is actively engaged in farming, and earns at least $10,000 of the corporation’s gross annual income from farming, or at least 25 per cent of the corporation’s gross annual income from farming, if the corporation does not earn at least $10,000 of the corporation’s gross annual income from farming,
- a partnership that owns a farm and
- is registered in this province,
- is actively engaged in farming, and
- earns at least $10,000 of the partnership’s gross annual income from farming, or at least 25 per cent of the partnership’s gross annual income from farming, if the partnership does not earn at least $10,000 of the partnership’s gross annual income from farming, or
- an individual who is registered in the Future Farmer Program,
- a corporation that is registered under the Business Corporations Act R.S.P.E.I. 1988, Cap. B-6.01, the Companies Act R.S.P.E.I. 1988, Cap. C-14, or the Extra-Provincial Corporations Registration Act R.S.P.E.I. 1988, Cap. E-14, and has a shareholder who is registered in the Future Farmer Program, or
- a partnership that is registered under the Partnership Act R.S.P.E.I. 1988, Cap. P-1, and has a partner who is registered in the Future Farmer Program
