Securities Act Confidentiality Order
In the matter of the Securities Act,
R.S.P.E.I. 1988, Cap. S-3.1 Subsection 26(2)
Whereas subsection 26(2) provides that the Superintendent may hold records or any class of records in confidence if the Superintendent considers that the records disclose intimate financial, personal or other information, and that the desirability of not disclosing the information, in the interests of any person affected, outweighs the desirability of adhering to the principle of public disclosure;
And whereas the Superintendent considers that the class of records, filed under section 6.1 of National Instrument 45-106 - Prospectus and Registration Exemptions, or under any predecessor section in former Prince Edward Island securities laws, disclose such intimate financial, personal or other information;
The Superintendent holds this class of records in confidence under subsection 26(2).
