Islanders are quick to take action following the storm, moving swiftly into clean up phase.

There is lots of debris and other materials to get rid of but roads, shoulders and sidewalks still need to be kept clear for public safety and to help recovery efforts.

Islanders are asked to keep all debris and materials on their property.

Bundles, bags and larger debris should not be placed on sidewalks, the roadway, the shoulder of the road, or in cycling lanes because the debris can become an additional hazard for pedestrians, cyclists and motorists.

More information will be available in the coming days.
