Kings County Needs Assessment and Action Plan

The Department of Housing, Land and Communities issued a Request for Proposals in the fall of 2022 to engage a consultant to complete a needs assessment for Kings County to better understand the current housing needs for the area which includes out-of-the-cold services, emergency shelter, transitional supports and affordable housing. There were 14 recommendations with five key areas of focus identified: housing with supports, coordination and training, data collection, emergency preparedness, and transportation.
