Adult Day Programs

If you are a senior living in your home, there are Adult Day Programs available across PEI that offer a variety of group and individual activities suited to personal abilities and interest in a safe and comfortable environment. The programs also support family and friend caregivers by giving them a break, or respite, from providing day-to-day care. Some locations offer personal care services, contact the program of interest for further information (see below).

How can I participate in an Adult Day Program?

To participate, contact the Home Care office in your area. A pre-admission assessment will be conducted to determine your eligibility. You will be responsible for your own transportation and a nominal fee to cover the cost of supplies and meals.
