A small number of inactive health records blown away by strong winds

Health PEI is advising the public of an incident this morning in which a small amount of paper records was carried off by strong winds. The records involved were no longer active and may have contained limited information about individuals who are now deceased. Staff took immediate steps to respond to the incident and were able to retrieve most of the affected records.

If members of the public locate paper records, they are asked to return them to the Charlottetown offices of Health PEI at 16 Garfield Street or contact Health PEI at 902-569-7734 for direction.
