Evangeline Health Centre (Wellington) Same Day Clinic cancelled for May
Health PEI advises that the Evangeline Health Centre (Wellington) Same Day Clinic that operates on Wednesdays will be cancelled for May due to a lack of available staff. All other services at the clinic will continue.
The Evangeline Health Centre (Wellington) Same Day Clinic assists 12-16 patients on Wednesdays each week.
The Primary Care Registered Nurse will still be providing care at the Evangeline Health Center to those who have booked appointments. Public health nursing and other such services are also still operating as usual.
Health PEI is continuing to collaborate with system partners to provide sustainable services at the Evangeline Health Centre and will provide an update as this effort progresses.

Anyone with emergency medical needs should call 9-1-1 or seek emergency services when:
- experiencing discomfort or tightness in the chest;
- experiencing unusual shortness of breath;
- experiencing abdominal pain;
- experiencing prolonged and persistent headache or dizziness;
- an injury may require stitches or involve a broken bone;
- a child has prolonged diarrhea or vomiting; or
- a baby under six months of age has a fever of 38°C (100.4°F) or higher.
