October 29, 2021

The Code Orange at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital has been cleared.

Children are no longer being transferred to hospital as they have been cleared by Island EMS. A total of three children have been treated, but they are stable.

“Thank you to QEH staff and physicians, partner hospitals, Public Schools Branch and first responders for their exceptional work in responding to this situation,” said Dr. Michael Gardam, CEO. “We have amazing professionals who truly give it their all.”
