RSV outbreak over at Wedgewood Manor’s Land household
The respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) outbreak on the Land household at Summerside’s Wedgewood Manor has been declared over. The outbreaks of RSV and COVID-19 on Sea household remain in effect.
Visitors to Wedgewood Manor will continue to be restricted to three partners-in-care for each resident, with only one partner-in-care present at a time. Visitor restrictions will remain in place until the outbreaks are declared over.
All visitors to Health PEI facilities are reminded they must wear a mask at all times, including at patient/resident bedside, and follow posted COVID-19 safety protocols.
Visitors are also asked to stay away if they are experiencing any symptoms of respiratory illness.
