Telephone survey asks Islanders about gambling
A voluntary telephone survey is being carried out to ask Islanders about their gambling behavior so that more support services can be developed to help people with gambling issues.
The Department of Health and Wellness is again gathering information from Islanders ages 18+ from across the province. The survey is anonymous and takes about 10-15 minutes. The information collected will be used to compile a gambling prevalence report for Prince Edward Island.
“This survey will help us better understand how prevalent gambling is on Prince Edward Island. I encourage all Islanders to take a few minutes to participate in the survey and help us to identify areas where we can further support people struggling with gambling related issues.”
