Three government boards welcome new members

Islanders are making positive impacts to their communities through their continued engagement on agencies, boards and commissions.

Twenty-two Islanders have been appointed and reappointed to three government boards in the month of September.

“The many perspectives and solutions brought forward by new and returning members to government boards are always welcome. I’m inspired and thankful every day when I see Islanders come together and focus on making our communities strong and vibrant so that our province continues to be one of the very best places to live, work and play.”

- Premier Dennis King

There are over 70 government boards across multiple sectors that Islanders can join. Some of the boards currently seeking new members are:

  • Occupational Health and Safety Advisory Council
  • Farm Practices Review Board
  • Employment Standards Board
  • Learning Partners Advisory Council
  • PEI Marketing Council
  • Workers Compensation Board

Islanders are encouraged to apply to one of many agency, board or commission’s vacancies every month through Engage PEI. For a full list, go to Upcoming Vacancies for Agencies, Boards or Commissions.
