Licence to Purchase Ozone Depleting and Regulated Substances

A valid licence is required to purchase any regulated or ozone-depleting substance such as those used in refrigeration, air conditioning, fire suppression, electronics cleaning, and solvents. Any company conducting plumbing services in Prince Edward Island requires a valid PEI Plumbing Contractor's Licence. In addition, the owner or at least one employee of the company must hold a valid journeyman’s certificate in plumbing or a work permit issued in accordance with the Apprenticeship and Trades Qualification Act.
