Browse Public Archives Online Exhibits

Staff at the Public Archives regularly create exhibits on a variety of themes in Island history. You can view the current exhibit at the Public Archives or, in many cases, view the exhibit online.

What exhibits are available online?

Some of the exhibits available online include:

  • Public Archives and Records Office submission to The Ties that Bind Canada: A Canada 150 Project of the National, Provincial, and Territorial Archivists’ Conference (NPTAC)

October to May:
Monday, Closed
Tuesday to Friday, 10am - 5pm
Thursday evenings, 6:30pm - 9pm

Closed weekends and holidays.

All visitors to the Coles Building are required to sign in at the Security Desk on the main level.

Wheelchair access is available through the ramp on the Church Street side of the building.

Starting June 7, 2017, visitors are asked to enter the Coles Building via the west side door or the Church Street ground level door while the main entrance undergoes repairs.
