Health Care Graduates Expression of Interest for Employment
Nursing and midwifery students in their final year of schooling can expedite the hiring process by expressing interest in working in Health PEI facilities. Students can express interest in various care areas with full-time, part-time, and casual employment options. If you are currently employed as a student or have had educational placements with Health PEI, you may not have to be interviewed (please inquire with Health PEI's Talent Acquisition Team if this applies to you). If you are new to Health PEI, you will be contacted for an interview.
By expressing interest through this form, it does not guarantee that you will be offered employment.
Who can express interest in employment?
You can express interest if you are in your graduating year from a post-secondary educational program and are 90 days out from your graduation in:
- Medical Secretary,
- Resident Care Worker (RCW),
- Registered Nursing (RN),
- Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN),
- Nurse Practitioner (NP), or
- Midwifery.
After graduating, and if applicable, you must plan to attain registration from the:
- College of Registered Nurses and Midwives of PEI (CRNMPEI), or
- College of Licensed Practical Nurses of PEI (CLPNPEI).
How do I express my interest?

If you are fluent in French, you must undergo a language assessment before receiving an offer of employment for a position that requires the incumbent to be bilingual.
