Request Use of Wordmark or Copyrighted Material
The Prince Edward Island wordmark is a registered trademark of the Government of Prince Edward Island and may not be copied, reproduced, altered or distributed for use or otherwise used in whole or in part in any manner without written permission.
This is the online application to request permission to use the PEI wordmark or any other copyrighted materials of the Government of Prince Edward Island.
Is there other information I need to consider?
If you are requesting use of the official wordmark for the first time, read Guidelines for using provincial wordmark and symbols.
Approval is based on the information that you provide. Your request for use of the wordmark may be rejected if use implies endorsement or involvement by the Government of Prince Edward Island for an independent project or endeavour.
Do I need to submit a request to use pictures from the website?
The Government of Prince Edward Island is the owner of the majority of the graphics, images, audio and visual materials within princeedwardisland.ca. You do not need to submit a request form to use images for personal and public non-commercial use.
We have made every effort to label images not owned by government. Reproduction of such third party materials is not permitted.
How long will it take to submit the application and get a response?
It will take no longer than five minutes to complete the online form. You will be contacted with a decision by email within two business days.
