AgriStability Enrolment, Deadlines and Fee Payments

To ensure eligibility for AgriStability coverage, a producer must meet the enrolment and submission deadlines established for the program year.

Date Details
March 31 Deadline to submit Interim Payment Request for previous Program Year.
April 30

Enrolment Notice submission and fee payment deadline for the current program year. Fees and penalties for recurring participants are automatically incurred and owing after April 30th.

  • New participants must sign the current year’s enrolment notice and pay the fee to avoid late-payment penalty;
  • Previous year participants must pay the fee for the current year, to avoid late-payment penalty; 
  • Or sign and return the “Opt Out” form for the current year to avoid late-payment penalty.
June 30

Deadline to submit:

  • Tax-Aligned Consent Form
  • Intended Productive Capacity Form
September 30

File and submission deadline for the previous AgriStability support year:

Late-submission penalties: AgriStability income and expense forms and supplemental forms due September 30th will be accepted until December 31st with penalties as follows:

  • October 1-31st: Surcharge $500
  • November 1-30st: Surcharge $1,000
  • December 1-31st: Surcharge $1,500
December 31
  • Final deadline to pay program fees with penalty for the current year (20% surcharge).
  • Final date for late submission with penalty for forms due September 30th.
  • Eligibility for current year participation ends.

All forms can be submitted to the AgriStability office by mail, in person, by fax to 902-836-8912 or by email to AICStability@gov.pe.ca.

Fee Payments

Producers may submit AgriStability payments as follows:

Online

To process payments through financial institution, add P.E.I. Agricultural Insurance Corporation to your online banking payee list. Please use your AgriStability PIN as your account number.

Fees under $25,000 are payable through e-transfer to AICInsurance@gov.pe.ca. To ensure accurate processing, you must include your AgriStability/AgriInvest PIN in the e-transfer message box.

In-person

Cheques payable to P.E.I. Agricultural Insurance Corporation-AgriStability can be dropped off at the Kensington office during office hours or in the drop box, or at any Access PEI location.

By Mail

Cheques payable to P.E.I. Agricultural Insurance Corporation-AgriStability can be mail to:
