Burning Restrictions
Please note that the 2025 fire season has ended as of 11:59pm on November 15, 2025. Fire season will resume on March 15, 2026.
Burning permits are not required between November 16, 2025 and March 14, 2026.
The Burning Restrictions and Fire Weather Index maps will not be updated outside of fire season.

Always check your municipal bylaws, or contact your municipal office, before doing any type of burning. Your municipality may have a burning restriction that overrides the provincial burning map restrictions.
This page is updated daily at 2pm during fire season from March 15 to November 15. No domestic brush burning is permitted between 8am and 2pm.
This page is not updated from November 16 to March 14.
