Pesticide Purchase Permit

Anyone that wants to buy a commercial, restricted or agricultural class pesticide that does not possess a Pesticide Applicator Certificate, must first obtain a Pesticide Purchase Permit.

$50 per year. There is no HST. 

Payments may be made by cash, cheque or credit card. Make cheques payable to the Minister of Finance.

When does a pesticide purchase permit expire?

This permit expires on December 31 of the year it was issued or once the business or operator no longer employs someone with a valid Pesticide Applicator Certificate. This permit must be renewed each year.
