The purpose of the Atlantic Provinces Harness Racing Commission is to regulate and oversee the harness racing industry throughout the maritime provinces.
Who serves on the Commission?
Two PEI commissioners serve on the Atlantic Provinces Harness Racing Commission and are committed to the harness racing industry. The provincial government appoints members from among individuals who apply through Engage PEI.

The minister responsible is the Minister of Finance.
