Loving Care

Loving Care is a series of four books for parents of children from birth to age 3 developed by Nova Scotia’s Department of Health and Wellness and made available to families in Prince Edward Island in partnership with the Public Health Nursing program.

These books are only available electronically and can be viewed from the links below. You may also print your own copy if you wish.

Loving Care books focus on babies and children at specific ages and contain information for parents on development, behaviour, feeding, health and safety topics. There is also information that is useful to families whatever their child’s age may be and includes contacts for community-based resources in PEI that can offer additional support to families.

Vaccination Resources

Vaccines are an important way to protect your child from serious and life-threatening diseases. You can help keep them safe and healthy by making sure they get all recommended vaccines on time.
