Insurance Company Licence and Search

Insurance companies are required to license under the Insurance Act. The license must be renewed annually. The licensing and renewal fee is $900 payable to the PEI Minister of Finance.

How do I apply for an Insurance Company Licence?

To make application, contact the Insurance and Real Estate Section under the Consumer, Corporate and Financial Services Division of the Department of Justice and Public Safety.

You can search the Corporate/Business Names Registry for Insurance Companies.
