Apply for a Septic System Pumper’s Licence

Who requires a pumper’s license? Any person/business that undertakes the cleaning of a sewage disposal system or the disposal of septage or biosolids. What is septage? Septage is material removed from a septic tank. Septic tanks should be cleaned as needed (every 3 to 5 years) using a Licensed Pumper. Prince Edward Island has a 5-year motor vehicle driver's license. All PEI residents are required to renew their driver’s license on or before the expiry date shown on their current license. Rather than wait until the last minute, you can renew your license up to 5 months before your card expires. Energy Efficiency Loan Program – Online Application

Island residents adding energy efficiency upgrades to their home may be eligible to borrow up to $10,000 from the provincial government to help finance the cost. The Energy Efficiency Loan Program is available to a registered owner of a year-round residential property and where the project has been pre-approved by efficiencyPEI. The loan may assist with purchasing efficient equipment such as a new furnace or heat pump or it may help with the cost of upgrades to the building envelope, i.e. new windows or air sealing. In partnership with the Atlantic Police Academy (APA), the six-month Correctional Officer Training Program will develop 12 students’ skills and knowledge on intervention and de-escalation strategies, crisis management, Canadian law, ethics and professionalism, workplace health and safety, as well as topics specific to correctional services.
