Renew Temporary Health Card Online

The PEI Health Card issued to international students is valid for one year only, while work permits are valid until the permit expires. If you are continuing your PEI study program or returning to PEI for a new work term, you may use the online form below to submit the updated documents necessary for your temporary health card renewal. If you were issued a temporary health card and choose to permanently reside in PEI, you must renew your temporary health card as a “New Permanent Resident”. Your existing health card number will be transferred to a health card valid for five years.
