Apply for a LP Gas Installation/ Alteration Permit

A permit is required to install or alter any L.P. gas appliance in PEI. The work must be carried out by a licensed professional and, once completed, must pass provincial inspection. Click the button below to apply online for the permit.

What do I need to complete the online form?

You will be asked to provide current contact information and details related to the project as follows:

• Specify alteration or installation, providing details of the alteration
• Building: owner name and contact information, and PID
• Service:
  • Type of load
  • Total appliances
  • Total BTU load
• A drawing of the type of load for projects greater than 400,000 BTU
• Full payment of fees (fee schedule provided)

When the work is complete, you must submit a completed Pressure Test Report to Chief Inspector.
