Renew a Motor Vehicle Registration (MVR)
The Province has resumed regular mail delivery through Canada Post following the recent rotating strikes. As of Monday, November 17, all Motor Vehicle Registrations (issued or renewed) will be mailed as usual.
Please note:
- Clients who submitted an online registration renewal prior to November 17, may still experience delays.
- If you have not received your registration permit within three weeks of submitting your application, please contact your nearest Access PEI location.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to ensure all documents are delivered as quickly as possible.
Overview
On Prince Edward Island, your car must pass an inspection by a certified mechanic before renewing your registration.
