Site Assessor Licence

Renewal Advisory - Be advised that Site Assessor licensing must be renewed before October 1st of your expiry year.  

You need to have a Site Assessor's Licence to complete site suitability assessments for the purpose of on-site sewage disposal system design or subdivision and development approvals.

What do I need to get a Site Assessor's Licence?

  • Have two years of post‑secondary education in a related field.
  • You may also qualify if you have practical experience that is considered equivalent to this level of education.
  • Have completed a course of instruction and passed a Site Assessor’s Licence exam from the responsible authority.  
  • Fill out the application below.
  • Pay the fee.

If you have a similar licence issued by another province or territory, you may be able to get a Site Assessor's Licence for PEI if it is equivalent to the PEI regulatory requirements.  

What are the fees?

$250 is the application fee and renewal fee for a Site Assessor’s Licence. These licences are valid for up to two years. HST is not required.
