The Government of Prince Edward Island uses official symbols and emblems to represent its authority, heritage, and identity. These visual elements are protected by law and must be used in accordance with established brand standards to maintain consistency and respect for their historical significance.
Government Wordmark
The Prince Edward Island wordmark is a registered trademark of the Government of Prince Edward Island. Beyond the circumstances listed below, it may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed in any other manner without prior written approval. It must not be altered in any way.
Usage Guidelines:
- Permission may be granted under the following circumstances:
- Use by government departments, ministers, and other authorized representatives for official purposes.
- Use to recognize provincial endorsement for an event, organization, product, or service through financial or other support.
- Use by an organization or person representing the province nationally or internationally through a sanctioned process.
- Use by an organization or person contracted by the province to produce promotional materials, signage, or other products.
Commercial Use:
The provincial wordmark cannot be used for commercial purposes without written approval.
Request Permission:
For use beyond those listed above complete a Request Use of Wordmark or Copyrighted Material form. Approval will be based on the information provided. Requests may be rejected if use implies endorsement or involvement by the Government of Prince Edward Island for an independent project.
