Provincial Budgets: Budget Address and Capital Budget
What is the Operating Budget?
The estimates of revenue and expenditure provide the Government of PEI’s detailed spending plans to operate each department for the next fiscal year.

What is the Capital Budget?
The Capital Budget is a forecast of spending for infrastructure and capital projects such as roads and bridges, public buildings, and equipment. Unlike the Operating Budget, which is delivered each spring, the Capital Budget is delivered each fall in the Legislative Assembly.
