About Souris Hospital
Souris Hospital is a 17-bed community hospital that provides inpatient, ambulatory and extended care services to residents and visitors to Eastern Prince Edward Island.

What if I need emergency care?
If you or someone in your care has an urgent medical condition or is experiencing a health crisis, go to the nearest Emergency Department or call 9-1-1.
Emergency services are offered at the following hospitals:
- Queen Elizabeth Hospital (24 hours/day)
- Prince County Hospital (24 hours/day)
- Kings County Memorial Hospital (Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.)
- Western Hospital (8 a.m. to 8 p.m./ seven days a week)
When can I visit a patient?
Family/partners in care can visit patients at any time as decided by the patient and in coordination with the health care team. Visitors can call the front desk or switchboard, or check with a health care provider before visiting a patient. Learn more about Family Presence and what you should know before visiting a patient.

How can I donate?
The Eastern Kings Health Foundation is a group of community volunteers who fundraise, collect and utilize funds to benefit the health of residents in Eastern Prince Edward Island. Donations are used to purchase necessary medical equipment and resources to support and improve patient care and comfort. To make a donation, contact the Eastern Kings Health Foundation:
