Special invitation to 60th anniversary couples

Their Honours the Honourable Frank Lewis and Mrs. Dorothy Lewis wish to share a special occasion in their lives with other Islanders. 

"On June 29, Dorothy and I will celebrate our 60th wedding anniversary," notes His Honour.  "We are inviting all PEI couples married in 1957 to contact my office to receive an invitation to a special anniversary luncheon with us at Government House this year." 

In 2016, Their Honours celebrated Her Majesty's 90th birthday in part by hosting three luncheons for 99 Islanders who were born the same year as The Queen.  They were very well-received and the response was inspiration for these similarly fashioned events.  Each couple will receive a congratulatory certificate from Their Honours and from the Governor General.

"We are not sure how many other anniversary couples will call.  We will have as many lunches as needed to accommodate every interested couple," said His Honour.
