e-Health and Tele-Health

Woman smiling while working on her laptop at home. This page focuses on virtual care, a way to connect with your health care provider (doctor, nurse, etc.) using your phone, computer, or tablet.

You might be able to use virtual care if:

  • your provider offers it
  • you're seeing an off-island specialist
  • if you don't have a primary care provider, in which case you may be eligible for the free Virtual Care Program.

Through virtual visits, providers can assess, treat, educate, prescribe, and order tests. You always have the choice to decline a virtual visit.

For non-emergency health information, call 8-1-1 to speak with a registered nurse, 24 hours a day.
