More Islanders join provincial boards
The Province welcomes more Islanders to government agencies, boards and commissions.
This month, seven Islanders were appointed or reappointed to the following boards: Advisory Council on the Status of Women, Council of the Prince Edward Island College of Physiotherapy, Social Assistance Appeal Board and Victims Services Advisory Committee.
“I continue to be incredibly impressed by Islanders’ desire to contribute to their communities. The time they spend and the dedication they show in supporting the Province’s boards makes a real difference to how we see the Island grow and improve.”
- Premier Dennis King
“My sincere thanks go out to every member, new and returning, for helping chart the future of our province together.”
Every month, government boards across many different industries are ready to welcome new members.
