About the Criminal Code Review Board

Every province is required to have a Criminal Code Review Board to make or review dispositions concerning any accused person who receives a court verdict of not criminally responsible by reason of mental disorder or is deemed unfit to stand trial.
Who serves on the board?
The Criminal Code Review Board is made up of not fewer than five members who apply through Engage PEI.
Who is the minister responsible?
The Minister responsible is the Minister of Justice and Public Safety.
