Buy a Fishing Licence Online

The 2021 Recreational Angling season begins on Thursday April 15, 2021.  All Angling regulations as well as those pertaining to COVID-19 are in force.

Getting Started

In order to buy a fishing licence online, you must first create an e-services profile with the Government of PEI. Your date of birth and your email address are required.

What do I need to purchase a fishing licence online?

You must have:

  1. Adobe Acrobat software installed on your computer;
  2. Access to a printer (ink and paper); and
  3. Visa or MasterCard.

What are the fees for the fishing licence?

Fees vary. Find a list of current fees at Angling Resources and Information Centre.

Is there other information I need to consider?

If new regulations and restrictions are issued they will be available in 2021 Special Angling Regulations

How long will it take to get my fishing licence?

As soon as you complete your purchase, a valid licence will be sent to the email address provided in your e-Services profile. Print and sign this licence.

Personal information on this form is collected under section 11(1), PEI Wildlife Conservation Act and is used to validate eligibility, user surveys and summary statistics.
