Buy a Fishing Licence Online

In order to buy a fishing licence online you must first create an e-services profile with the Government of PEI. Your date of birth and your email address are required.

Personal information on this form is collected under section 11(1) of Prince Edward Island's Wildlife Conservation Act and will be used for the purpose of validating eligibility, user surveys, and summary statistics. What do I need to purchase a fishing* licence online?

You must have:

  1. Adobe Acrobat software installed on your computer;
  2. Access to a printer (ink and paper); and
  3. Visa or MasterCard.

* New Fishing licences are available on April 1st of the calendar year.

What are the fees for the fishing licence?

Fees vary. Find a list of current fees at Angling Resources and Information Centre.

Is there any other information I need to consider?

How long will it take to get my fishing licence?

As soon as you complete your purchase, a valid licence will be sent to the email address you provided in your e-Services profile, which you should print and sign.
