About the Board of Examiners of Land Surveyors

The purpose of the PEI Board of Examiners of Land Surveyors is to ensure that the examinations being conducted for those seeking to become land surveyors are carried out within the regulations and standards outlined in the Land Surveyors Act.

The Association of Prince Edward Island Land Surveyors is responsible for regulating the practice of land surveying on PEI, administering the membership and setting admission requirements.

Who serves on the Board?

Islanders who serve on the PEI Board of Examiners of Land Surveyors are appointed from among individuals who apply through Engage PEI.

Who is the minister responsible for the Board?

The minister responsible is the Minister of Transportation.
