Apply for a Public Library Card

Library membership is free. When you apply online for an adult or child’s public library card, a temporary one will be mailed to you. Please bring this card and ID showing your name to any public library within 30 days to confirm your membership. 

Please note: If you are under age 16, your parent or guardian must accompany you when you come to the library to confirm your membership.

What do I need to complete the online library card application?

You will be asked to provide the following:

  • Your full name and contact information
  • Your agreement to the disclaimers and privacy statements 
  • The name and phone number of your parent or guardian, if you are under age 16
  • Please indicate which public library is most convenient for you. This location will be your default branch for hold pick-ups and is also used for reporting. Find more information about Public Libraries – Locations and Hours.
