Energy Efficiency Information and Applications

Because the cheapest energy is the energy you never use, energy efficiency can save Islanders money and reduce energy use. Islanders who are interested in reducing their energy consumption can benefit from energy efficiency grants and rebates.

If your annual household income is less than $55,000 annually and you own your home, check your eligibility for a free heat pump, insulation and electric hot water heater.

Fossil fuel equipment rebates will end on December 31, 2022. Islanders who’ve installed by this date will still get their rebate if they apply by March 31, 2023. Apply online using the Energy Efficient Equipment Rebates application form.
